I have just moved into a house which is 14 year old. The central heating is the original which has a Flowmax Combination Unit heated by a baxi solo boiler. My first bill was massive to what I was used to. Ive had the boiler checked out and its 90% efficient (which I'm told aint to bad for 14 years old) there are also no gas leaks. I can only guess that the storage tank which the hot water is continually heated up day and night is to blame. Has any one any comments on the efficiency of the flow max storage tank.
