Personally I feel all supermarkets should be compelled to donate nearly out of date food, that otherwise they would throw out.
It's got very little to do with mass immigration and the EU. It's to do with us borrowing too much money over the past 50 years and paying ourselves too much money for too little work.
If it's a case of paying ourselves to much money for to little work how come the Germans on average work less hours than the British and have less qualifications yet they are one of the few countries in Europe that have any surplus cash?could it be that German employers and their employee's work together in a spirit of enlightened self interest and for the Benefit of the country as a whole, unlike the British employers who are addicted to cheap labour even if the social fall out is bankrupting the country.It's got very little to do with mass immigration and the EU. We are in competition with the Chinese and Indians now and we are having our butts kicked. When we have a similar standard of living to the Chinese and Indians we will be able to fight back. Food banks are going to become more common and so are other things that we aren't going to like.
If there was a revolution in this country and the last Labour goverment ended up being lined up against a wall that wouldn't bother me too much. Unfortunately you really need to blame the people who voted for them. And after the revolution we would still be stuffed, though it would certainly feel good for a few weeks.
