Whether the subject is Covid, Brexit or anything else, here is a simple example, about which you need no specialist knowledge, of the lying.
Johnson today:
"I remember how some people used to sneer at wind power, twenty years ago, and say that it wouldn’t pull the skin off a rice pudding,"
"But the prime minister will fail to mention that the only person known to have made this colourful claim about wind farms is himself, in 2013."
Seven years ago; not twenty.

How can anyone believe a word he says about anything, about which he has no specialist knowledge - most things?
