Can we get over emotional about banning knitting needles as well ???

Only I have a serious argument brewing with my missus & she won't put the knitting needles down.

I'm going to start a petition for better policing, more police participation in the community, less institutional racism in the police, and more diversity in police recruitment, less racism in society, more equality for out-of-work young people, more opportunity, activity and participation for young people in the community, etc.
We need to find the causes of the problems, not sticking plasters for the symptoms.

They are already illegal to have in a public place without a good reason:

I'd support the removal of religious and national costume etc.

If you ban a type of knife, they will just find either another way of making them or another knife.

Maybe he's a Catholic? But that still leaves the morris men. Hmm. Scottish Catholic who's a member of the SNP, perhaps?
The only religious group i can think of, who carry knives and wear ceremonial dress are Sikhs.
