Formula 1 championship decider on Sunday.

I hope Max wins personally, they can both whine as good as each other but it does seem like Max and Red Bull have had the sh1tty end of the stick with the decisions.

Max fan here also. Hamilton has got far too big for his boots, (like Schumacher did), and bleats so much about racism in the sport that those higher up are scared to deny him things. Has anyone noticed how Bottas is suddenly showing what he can actually do now they have sacked him? It's as though he is cocking a snoop at Mercedes and saying, "Look what I could have done for you if we had played on a level field."
My biggest fear is Hamilton will engineer an incident to make it look like Max is the baddie.

Take it from this remark that you wear a white skin.

Similar penalties have been applied before.

I don't know if they'll have the will to impose any such penalty if it's merited, but it is precedented.
In his pre-event notes, published Thursday, Masi wrote: "All Competitors and Drivers are reminded of the various requirements detailed in the FIA International Sporting Code. In particular I would like to remind you of the following articles detailed below.

"Article 12.2.1 - Breach of Rules and in particular Article 12.2.1.l 'Any infringement of the principles of fairness in Competition, behaviour in an unsportsmanlike manner or attempt to influence the result of a Competition in a way that is contrary to sporting ethics.'

"29.4 Article 12.4.5 'For all the FIA Championships, cups, challenges, trophies or series, the stewards may also decide to impose the following penalties: Suspension for one or more Competitions, withdrawal of points for the Championship, cup, challenge, trophy, series.'

"Article 12.4.5.a 'Points should not be deducted separately from Drivers and Competitors, save in exceptional circumstances.'"

Masi is making it very clear the FIA do not want a collision or running someone off the track to decide thus championship, as they should in my opinion.

I may be white, I may be black, I may be Mexican, I may be Chinese. The colour of my skin never determines my opinion of someone or something.
Walk a mile in someone else's shoes. Then say what you've just said.
But, dressed as a Muslim woman, Freeman experiences hostility from her own neighbours. Afterwards, she says: “It makes me ashamed to live here. I was raging and fuming inside. But I also felt vulnerable. What harm was I doing?”

The same applies to all 'minorities (disabled, old, ethnicity, etc)' in society.
It's only when you've experienced prejudice, discrimination, etc that you can truly understand the frustration, anger, rage felt by those who suffer such discrimination.

Let's not. Please?

Big F1 fan here. I hope Hamilton wins and makes history with an 8th world championship.

He’s a quality driver, and yes he’s usually had the best car…but as David Colthard says, the best drivers find their way to the best cars.

Verstappen is talented, but he’s young and a bit immature and can’t take responsibility for his actions. I hope he can improve in this respect and he will be better. However, if he’s like his dad (Jos is a nasty piece of work accused of repeatedly beating his wives) then his awful attitude will remain.

Before this season I liked RB and Horner as the plucky underdogs done good, but Horner’s behaviour/whining has put me off them.

Personally I think it’s fair play on Hamilton to try and make a difference. Ignoring his colour, he’s come from nothing to dominate what has always been a rich man’s sport. (He owes a lot to his dad). Now he’s got a platform, I think it’s good he’s trying to make change.

Similarly I used to dislike Vettel, but since he’s become a father he’s also trying to make the world a bit better…and I’ve also realised he’s got a wicked sense of humour.

Schumacher was not a bad motor cycle racer either at domestic level

never really understood why surtees never received a knighthood for his unique acheivment ?

Damon hill started on racing bikes

Mercedes team has already stoked the fire by reminding the stewards of their responsibilities when judging potential dangerous driving.

I hope Hamilton wins too. The qualifying suggests it may go that way due to different race tyres.

I am concerned about dirty tricks as some ex drivers have mentioned, One taking the other out or even both out.

Think Lando has the best seat in the house to see how things pan out at the start
