Hello, not long moved house. I took down the shed the other day and noticed there was power going to it. In the fuse box there was a switch labelled 'garage', and this was feeding the power to the shed. I turned it off, to make it safe as its not needed now. But later, i noted no hot water in the house. The switch i turned off also powered the boiler. I have no clue with electrics, but this doesnt seem quite rite. Ive since turned this switch on to power the boiler. I now have a live cable, wired into a terminating block outside which is housed in a plastic pipe. The cable goes under the slabs in the garden.
Im concerned. I guess i want to remove the feed to the shed altogether. Can i get away with it being terminated in a block ? This is electrics, im guessing not. Is there any issues having the one switch powering the boiler and the external cable?
