Free standing oven flex?

Our fully electric range master oven and hob , if you add up all the elements, gives a maximum load of 17.7 kW

It’s never tripped the 32A breaker and on Xmas day our whole house drew a maximum of 7 kW briefly and that included the microwave and kettle

Diversity, diversity, diversity

It's a single oven? With no grill and no hob?

Hardly petty when you admitted that you realised that it was incorrect then could not be bothered to change it.
To make a true mistake and not realise it is simply that , a mistake but to realise that and not correct it is very bad.
In both cases an untruth was told but in the first case it was a simple error and could be forgiven but in the second case it is a deliberate act, it is a lie.
A person who does such has no right to be listened to and all points they raise have become questionable and unreliable.
Every word you speak, every text you write is now suspect.
These are the actions of an unprofessional, a person who has less standing in the community than an unqualified DIYer expressing an opinion and making a genuine mistake and an incorrect belief.
A pro making such a mistake, then realising that then not correcting that is reprehensible.

Mistakes can be easy to forgive, anyone can make a genuine mistake. A mistake is evidence that somebody has tried to do something.
The bloke that never made a mistake never made anything.
But deliberate mistakes or deliberate non correction of a mistake amounts to a lie, pure and simple.

Us pair are not petty, we have caught you out.
Howzat!

Well if I am petty and childish in not telling lies, including miss truths and half truths deliberately then yes guilty as charged.

I would never employ someone masquerading as a pro who thinks it`s somehow OK to deceive in this way.

The main theme of the thread is someone misinterpreting kWh for kW so for anyone to try and explain while mixing up the terms himself is rather futile and blaming predictive text (mine doesn't work like that) while not correcting the mistake is somewhat stupid.

What have I started? As the bloke who pointed out the mistake, I think you're going a bit OTT on this :giggle:
