Since starting this post, I took a punt on a Sky+ DRX890C box listed on ebay. Installed it today and I'm very pleased with it.

maybe cheaper for an antenna and use freeview?
I had freesat for years (after 1 year sky subscription) but moved to freeview, which IMO, on my TV, looks better.

Does anyone know if the Sky DRX series of HD boxes that have wifi allow the TV signal to be received via fibre from any wifi router?
