Freeview - missing channels

Not sure if this is the best place or not. I have a freeview tv box, which has got the updated software on it and refreshed the list of tv programs. When i go through the programs, various channels, such as uktv gold appear on the info bar with the program thats on etc and the signal strength shows as high. Great so far but no picture comes up for the channel. Am i missing something obvious or has anyone any ideas?

cheers breezer, got it already, the set top box was a freebie thats gone in the spare bedroom
