I know this is a very basic problem but we are having real problems with our front door. The door is sticking now that the colder weather has come in and despite us trying to adjust it we still have an issue.

I have adjusted the height up to the maximum but it kind of jams when it gets to closing (or opening) point and needs a bit of a shove. It's definitely not right.

I've attached a picture of the hinges, is there any advice/guidance anyone can give? Even towards a youtube video or similar which might help us with adjusting the door? Perhaps you can confirm from the picture the type of door/hinge we have to assist us with searching online?

I've raised the height as much as I can.

There seems to be a small gap between the door and the frame at the bottom right of this picture (not visible on the picture)

The door may of gone out of square to the frame so raising it may not help.

You may need to wind the bottom or top side to side to see if that helps.

It's often the top hinge that is the problem.

Grab and Allen key and masking tape, mark the doors current position on the masking tape on all hinges, you need to cut through the masking tape so the hinge can move. then wind the bottom hinge so the door moves to the right, it should close the gap then the top hinge so the door goes left at the top.

It is a case of fiddling with the hinges to see what they do.
