I've been training two fuchsias, from cuttings taken last year, into Standards.
I've been removing all side shoots to encourage upward growth and they both now stand at about a foot and a half tall. I want them taller still but there are now flower buds starting to appear at the growing tip.
If I allow them to flower, will this affect the upward growth or should I remove them leaving the growing tip until I'm ready to let them both bush out?
