fuse blowing on Worcester 24i (old style version)

As tony said the pump will be suspect, on this boiler it only works for the c/h so when heating is called for it blows the fuse, just change the pump head, probably grundfoss 16/60

Just read the manual on screwfix web site and that's beyond me. If it's the pump thats gone then moving into one room with an electric heater is my only option, no money to pay for it and pay someone to fit it.

If its the pump why does it spark from behind the timer?

You could always link out the timer just to be sure its not that but my moneys still on pump failure

We usually charge £84 plus £75 and that includes a boiler service.

Thats using a generic pump when available.

Most manufacturers pumps are about £160 inc vat, for the same pump.

But first, if you can, supply the pump seperately as I suggested. Sometimes the pumps take an excessive current that blows the 2A fuse but is carried by a 3A plug fuse. So you might get some heating!

After searching google I'm unable to find out how to power the pump separately.
Any links to tell/show me or can anyone tell me what to do? Happy to try it first before I move into one room and start saving
