why are we still debating this..

it's a moot point, the OP has asked how to change a CU.. so presumably the new one will be fitted by a sparky and the right size breakers and requisite RCD protection provided..

i'm well aware of what is going on in the other thread, in fact you'll see that I've replied there too..

the fact of the mater is that he'd be better off getting a new CU, and depsite his inferance that he intends to do it himself, he's been advised numerous times that this is not a DIY task..
