Fuse box tripping with washing machine on

Hi,

Tonight, put my washing machine on
& shortly afterwards, the fuse for the sockets tripped. The other items on at the time were the TV, PC, fridge & freezer. But when the Tv is switched off, the washing machine works fine & fuse doesn't trip. The fuse rating is 32A. Any ideas?

i suspect the tv is actualy a small scarlet fish.

what is the w/m doing when the mcb trips, i.e filling spinning rinsing or HEATING?

Is the problem repeatable, that is does it always happen if you run the washing machine with those appliances on?

it does sound like you either have an oversensitive MCB or a heavy load that you are not aware of somewhere.

Could it be an RCBO? Does this trip have a "test" button on it?
