Hey guys, I’ve got to remove some electronic air filters attached to a wall. They’re hard wired into fused spurs. Is it safe enough for me to isolate the power, remove the face of the spur, disconnect the filter wire and replace the face? This will leave a fused spur with live wires from the circuit but with nothing hard wired in. Is this no different to a 3 pin plug socket without anything plugged in? Thanks.

Yes, that's fine - just make sure you leave some misleading labels on the switches to really confuse future occupants - i.e. "Dungeon Lighting" :)

Haha thanks. Is it worth me removing the fuse as well or does that make no difference?

Flux Capacitor Charger.

Hadron Collider.

Launch Control.

And one labelled DO NOT TURN ON which causes the audio from this:
to play through a concealed speaker when turned on.

Brill idea - I think I will construct a few of those gadgets to prevent any false sense of calm, you can not be too careful these days . I suppose it could be considered as an apprehension intensifier or something.
