Though many people have knocked George's time in the house, it has served its purpose to an extent.
George was elected, this time, not so much to attend to the day-to-day worries of the people of Bethnal Green (and which MP is, really ?) but to remind the world about Tony Blair being a big fat liar. Every time George is on the news it reminds everyone, even if only at a subconscious level, what he stands for and reinforces his point.
Having said that, maybe BB wasn't the best choice of reality show. Given that some quarters of the media were always going to be out to get him, he should maybe have done something that he had a bit more control over, but at the end of the day, the cat-thing and the leotard-thing were tasks for the show, not George showing his true personality or a creepy way of trying to get off with Rula.
A Lib-Dem woman is going to be on 'The Games' soon - Bet there won't be the same ammount of fuss about that.
