Hi there,
Hope everyone that reads this is well. With winter coming, I've decided to draught proof my doors and windows. I bought a d-type self-adhesive seal to place around the door frame BUT the problem I've been having is that I have to use extra force to close the doors, especially when I try to place the seal next to the locking mechanism. I removed the old seal around the door which has a fin on the bottom of it that fits into the groove around the door (see images). I figured whatever it is should work better than the d-type, but I dont event know the name of this type of sealant. If anyone has any recommendation for which sealant I should buy, it would be much appreciated.
