Would it be unusual/necessary to have the foundations removed when demolishing a garage? (We want to get rid of old delapidated garage to give us a bigger garden and will probably put down turf and a big shed in its place.)
I don't know much about foundations. From inside the garage, I can see a concrete slab/floor, and the garage walls surround this and aren't built on it. The brick has sunk a bit in one corner. I planned to have a big wooden shed put up on top of the concrete slab (with wooden bearers under the shed)
