Hi all,
My garage roof is not insulated or extended over. I have no plans to extend over it in future.
I am having some external asbetos panels removed that are currently screwed to the internal ceciling joints. Followed by a new roller garage door fitted directly under the joists.
I am not sure I see the point of plaster boarding or insulating the garage ceciling as it's only used for storage.
I am mindful I only have a small window of oppurtunity to decide if i reboard the ceciling before new garage roller door is fitted under the joists.
Once the asbestos boards have been removed I have two options:
1) Don't reboard the ceiling and leave the joists showing.
2) Reboard it prior to the new garage door being fitted.
Welcome your thoughts and comments on which approach to take, Pro's snd con's etc.
Thanks in advance.
