Garage to Laundry Room Project Advice?

Hi

I am hoping to convert my garage into a laundry room with washer, dryer, storage units, with room to air/hang dry clothes.

I wondered if anyone had done similar or had any advice on how they'd do it?

Currently considering the following:

Replacing old wooden doors and window with UPVC double glazing.
Insulating gaps and plastering walls.
Having units built around washer and dryer.
Hiding cables.
Tiling floor.
Getting flat roof checked out as it's showing some signs of wear.

In your opinion would the cost of any of these outweigh the benefits? I'd like it to be tidy and clean enough. The rabbit hutch usually isn't there but there has been extreme weather warnings.
