The main burner of my gas cooker is not spreading the flame around. The flame is mainly coming from the middle.

I have given it a thorough clean, specially used a needle to clean the gas chamber (circled red).

After cleaning, I got more flame in the middle and its still not spreading around.

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks and Happy New Year

Picture before you cleaned?

First picture it looks terrible and and I assume before you cleaned.

Show us the other burners please

Which parts did you clean?

What make and model is it?

It looks to me like there is a mushroom shaped top cap missing.

Its a Belling range cooker.
I have attached picture of other burner at full speed.
I have cleaned the little hole circled red in the original picture.

I am just wondering if its a cleaning job that will help the flame to fully spread around.

The other burner has the cap I was expecting. It has holes round the rim that have to be cleaned out.

Can you swap the burner heads around the positions? There are often Small Medium and Large sizes.

There will be an identification plate somewhere, might be inside the edge of an oven or grill opening, with the name, model and serial number, so you will be able to look up the user manual.
