You say get the boiler stat down to less than half way, will this encourage my boiler to cycle more even when there is demand for heat?...which is why i have it set high....I assumed the less cycling the better...ie if there is demand for heat burner should be on.??
Whats the general thinking here?
I turned down the boiler stat last night from 5 to ~3 (max is 6)
Which according to MIs means i have reduced the flow temperature from ~77 to 63.
The rads were noticeably cooler this morning but it was particularly cold this morning so ill know later on if they are capable of warming the house @ 63 degrees.
Also this is how i got to 17.9KWhr
.027333(usage per minute)*10.9321(conversion factor on my bills)* 60(minutes per hour) =17.9
