GE Profile Dishwasher won't drain

Won't drain. Husband checked and ran machine while pulled out. It drained. Put it back, didn't drain. Pulled it out, it drained. This continued appx. 3 times and now won't drain at all. Any suggestions or help before we call repair or purchase new one? Thanksgiving is around the corner and I need my dishwasher Thanks.

i had this probelm yesterday with my dishwasher, try this.

Unscrew the dishwashers grey flexible hose from the u-bend (the one that drains the water)

Get a hose pipe and stick it down the dishwasher hose, you should hear a bubbling sound inside the machine... now put the pipe back on to the u-bend and put the machine through a quick wash. hold the drainage pipe from the dishwasher if you feel as if water is running through it, probelm solved

Is the hose being squashed or kinked when you push the machine back?

How is the drain hose being connected to the drainage system?

The hose isn't being bent or smashed. I will try what koumi1 said. Thanks for the input. I'll let you know what happens.
