Fitted this in 2008, and flush valve is getting stuck to open occasionally.
Any idea if this can be detached half way down and the main bit replaced from above, or is it a cistern off job? Thanks.

It will be detachable from inside the cistern. Usually a twist and lift or a couple of clips. Not sure on that one but, as I remember, the Geberit website has some instructional videos.
If you have no luck and have to remove the cistern, replace with a fluidmaster.

As suggested, the old one has been replaced but it will fit the cradle and overflow so you just need to replace the actual drop valve without removing the cistern.

With the Gerberit's it's not a twist and unlock, if you look down the flush valve to the bottom at the cradle you should see 2 tab clips, one either side, then it's both hands down the sides of the flush valve onto the 2 clips, the top of the tabs push in and the flush valve then just unclips from the cradle and pulls up and off it. Replacing with new is just push down it down into the cradle and it clips down and snaps in.
