I think you've misunderstood what I meant mate!
Their only sending the bills out later, and the increases are being backdated. Most people moan about council tax rises so they are doing it to avoid any repercussions at the ballot box. Don't be conned into thinking they are giving you anything!
Actually I do think it is wrong doing this and I would think the same way if the Tories did the same. Central Government is interferring in local matters for their own ends, and it is wrong. Furthermore the councils whilst waiting will probably have to borrow money and pay interest, so you will end up paying that as well.
nothing to moan about if they are holding back, it gives you longer at the cheaper rate so what's wrong with that? there are no rules to say when the rates should go up so i think you should look on it as a bonus
