Ok. Then it could only be a national vote and in a constituency, the candidate who received the most votes might not become an MP.
So, there would be no constituency MPs to whom you can complain and blame.

I would prefer a system of multiple votes knocking out those with less than a certain percentage until one candidate gets more than 50%

Thus the UK is not a democratic country!
