My wife and i have been installing downlighters in upstairs bedroom, we were both in the loft and my wife was sitting close to the insulation wool while wireing the lights and is complaining of a sore arse and says that it has fine peices of glass wedged into her skin which has come up as a rash. What is the best way to remove?.

Hoover, then bath (not so easy with an upright, but more fun). Horrible stuff that loft installation

Alternatively, keep all solutions to yourself and use this as an opportunity to bargain for something you've always wanted :) Oh, but on no account allow her to share your bed until you are assured that every last spec has gone

My first 10 treatment visitations are free ..... Just post your address .. ;) ;)
Cool washing .. no scratching ! ... Time.

If she hasn't already done so, a cool shower should help to relieve the itching and stinging and then maybe an anti-histamine would stop the itching.

This lot on here are so 'helpful' Can't you tell they are blokes?

A cold shower will close the pores of the skin and force the glass fibres out (or so thats what I have always been told)

What a bummer :D :D :D

I had similar thing with some tiny wooden splinters. The doctor said that if left alone they would in time work themselves up the surface.
