He took his pc in for repair and was found to have a huge collection of child porn and torture on it. That's what he went to jail for. There was a case brought against him for under-age sex but he was found not guilty of that. I suspect that if the jury had known about the porn collection they may have thought differently.

Countries in the east have had to crack down on this sort of thing, as there were so many pervs going there for "sex tourism".

I remember the news saying that Sri Lanka had a massive problem with people going there for young boys.

Perhaps they didn't actually need laws against it before in those places, and that's why the pervs cottoned on to these countries?

Listening to the Jeremy Vine programme on Radio2 it seems there are existing laws against these practises but the local police, magistrates, taxi drivers, etc.. are all in on this 'industry'. It seems that money rules over conscience.

Just been on holiday to Cambodia and Vietnam, could'nt help noticing quite a lot of solo middle aged western men around Phnom Penhn and Saigon, quite a few were sporting pony tails

Don't forget, the poverty and the method of survival for many poor families, tis not right, am certainly not condoning actions.
