Global tamper - split from the new alarm thread

1, 2 or 3 I'd expect, depends on the level of risk.
http://www.ciaalarms.co.uk/risk_assessment.htm

It will depend on the grade of alarm, if it is one which connects to a call centre (who call out the police) then it will be a lot more sophisticated than a normal 8 zone alarm which may be fitted to a house.

A call centre? What grade is a simple domestic? No monitoring?
A call centre as in the alarm is 24/7 monitored by the central station and in the event of an alarm, they call the police and the key holders.

Why do you say half the things you do?

What grade is a simple domestic then?

sorry Joe - it doesnt work like that, but this is an advice forum not a distance learning course

buy the regs and the guidance notes or your still just a DIY`er

In other words you aint got a clue. If you have - let's hear it.

no Joe, for once your really out of your depth- let it go, you have no idea what your asking for and the significance of the RA application

alarms have changed for the better and weekend warriors like you have no place in the pro market

Are you saying that you never us global tamper?

nope - due to new grading requirments

So global tamper is no longer used in alarm systems? Is that what you are saying?
Where the hell did you derive that assumption from based on the information given?

Your buddy Saxo.
No he didn't.

Oh yes he did. (thought panto had finished for this year)

I'm asking you. You are the one that brought up grading.

Are there any panels on the market that still use global tamper? If so why?
