Glow-worm Ultimate 50FF - buzzing sound

I've got the same boiler in Puller Towers & it cost a fortune in gas. The damn thing will last for ever & I'm always too busy to replace it with a Band A & OT controls.
This time of year it's 100 hour weeks & Spring/Summer/Autumn its crazy with the heavy events at the Highland Games.

You read the values on the side of each cap.

Not worth bothering about the smaller ones.

Just replace all the 300uF ones.

They have a rated life of only about 2000 hours in most cases!

Tony you are jesting, surely!!
2000 hours divided by 24 gives 83 days which is roughly 3 months
Where does this gem come from?

Either you have failed to be precise and accurate in number of zeros after 2 or it is some kind of a joke

Thanks. I have now read the capacitor values. There are four 47uF 50V capacitors on the PCB. These are the largest capacitors (there are some others but I will ignore those for now) and they are closest to a blackened patch on the board. I'll replace them and see how it goes.
