I’ve not seen any riots

Oh is it because he isn’t a brown person

He was offered £240000 to quit.
The wages of sin, eh.

The Church of England is a magnet for perverts, its Roman Catholicism lite version of Christianity has aways been attractive to dysfunctional types.

When you have a holy book that tells believers to "Love their fellow man" its inevitable that some will put their own interpretation on that command.

The Orange lot just as bad but better at covering up, look at the leader of the dup, complete establishment conspiracy of silence on even the basic stuff

Reminds me of the time Mrs Mottie and I were touring Ireland. We came across a ten year old boy, obviously distressed. We asked him what the matter was and he said he had lost his mother and father that morning in a car accident. Mrs Mottie asked him if he was religious and when he said he was, she asked if she would like her to take him to his priest. "Oh no" he said, "I couldn’t possibly tink of having sex at a toime loike dis"….

No, not really……

A typical case of the church putting its own reputation above their concern for the victims.
At least they didn't just move him to a different region or even a different country where he could start with a clean slate, and go on to commit repetitive abuse all over again.

The Catholic institution would have posted him to another country, where he could have started all over again.

What Church do Protestants affiliate with in Northern Ireland? I've never known. Is there just one? I'm sure I remember something about the DUP having links to a particular branch of Protestantism.

The modern day equivalent of 30 pieces of silver to pay the devil on his way to hell...

According to the god botherers ;)

They might have sacked him for bringing church into disrepute but didn't want a tribunal hearing which would likely embarrass the hierarchy and worse still they would probably lose.

Which reminds me of Ian paisley going into heaven where he was met at the pearly gates by St Peter who said give me three reason why I should let you in. Says Paisley, I gave an elderly priest a lift to mass a few weeks before I died, That's not good enough replies St Peter. Well, continues Ian, a few days before I passed on a priest took my confession. Impressive, nods St Peter but still not sufficient. The day I died, says Ian, I paid a priest £10 to say masses for me in perpetuity. Just wait there says St Peter who comes back a few minutes later, thrusts two crumpled fivers into Paisley's hands and says now sod off.
