Typed in my address and using the zoom looked right into my living room and then suddenly the street was withdrawn because of a complaint. How sick is that?

maybe it was your wall paper

We dont have wallpaper but one of my neighbours does. I'll be round there tomorrow morning first thing. How dare he punish the whole street because his wallpapers been googled?

I found my street - was gutted when I discovered that the pictures had been taken before I got my nice new front door - the whole world can see my horrible old door. Merrily went round the streets, round to the back of my house and what do I see?

My washing on the line and my knickers on show to the whole world!!!!!!

Now is that not worth complaining about?

Dont know who made the complaint, but one of my neighbours has been having an affair with another neighbours wife for about 2 years or so. Guess what? Our street has re-appeared on Google Maps and there they are having a friendly neighborly peck. Oh to be a fly on the wall when one or other of the aggrieved partners eventually discovers Google Maps!

Mattylad - no its in the browser version. Up in the top left where the zoom bar and the navigation controls are you should see a little man. If he's orange, then somewhere on the area you've got displayed, street view is available, if he's grey then they haven't done that area. If he's orange, click and hold on him and drag the man onto the map, any streets which are included will be highlighted in blue. Let go of your guy on one of these streets and the street view should load.

I can get street view, but I ain't got no little man, I have to double click on the camera icons. where's my little fella gone? (the skiving little bleeder).
