Grant Vortex e21 - CH works fine, but when I switch the DHW on the pressure increases, and locks out. Help

Is it the overheat stat that your resetting?

Lack of circulation through plate to plate would be my first call and check pump really is working correctly.
If your system is full of crap that needs sorting
Install system filter If you don't have one then put flusher through system.
New plate to plate around £120 from heating world of spares.
Also check expansion vessel pressure and flexi that connects is not blocked.
