No he didn't. Once again, since you appear not to have read it last time:

The OP asked about a card that could go inside his/her existing 2 year old laptop. Not about a new laptop with a non-existent adaptor.

Your "possible" solution isn't even available yet.

It's perfectly acceptable to use the term PCI Expresscard slot in this context of laptop upgrades.

If you accept that you're using a different term to everyone else then it's perfectly acceptable.

It's impossible for a laptop to support a PCI express slot as found in a regular desktop motherboard, so anyone showing confusion between the two terms either doesn't have enough knowledge about computer terms to attempt any upgrades, or is acting pedantically.

...which is exactly why confusing terms are avoided - to avoid confusing those without "enough knowledge".
