Morning all,

I’ve just moved into a house and in the bathroom there’s a towel rail - the tops on each side are proper manky with green corrosion.

Is there any way to remove this or are they too far gone at this point?

Thanks!

It's the brass of the blank/vent that's corroding (green) (whatever caustic cleaner you've been using) and the chrome is off and the rad is rusting too.

Use a green dish scourer and some soapy water and scrub away and you'll get most of it but it may just come back eventually. May be time to replace it.

Thank you!
We've got enough expenses going out at the moment with just purchasing the house, so i think for now i'll try to give it a clean and see how it goes! Maybe i can find some caps to go on top to at least hide it a bit.
