GTO runs again!.

The pedal us very light on the RC3, it's designed to put up with repeated launching and abuse.

The Green cover (mine) is rated to 1500/ 2000 ftlb I believe.

Driving it is fine but it chatters when setting off normally.

I've been through a fair few clutches drag racing, managed to melt a 4 puck paddle clutch..

I'd like to try the R3C with carbon disks eventually, but not top of my list at the moment..

If you look at the friction plates you can see how it's been cut to promote more pressure, but unfortunately for normal road use it's too good!.

ah yeah i've heard about the chatter,

i had a mechanical clutch packed LSD (KAAZ) not the helical type from quaife, and pulling out of side roads and parking in carparks it sounded horrendous, 'clonk' 'clonk' 'clonk', always got some odd looks, always had a few finger pointers and laughter towards me... until they saw the thing take off.

god i miss the turbo jap stuff.

wouldlove to get back into it, but my word the prices of it all.

Apart from roasting clutches drag racing and blowing an engine up on nitrous (neither of which are the cars fault) mines been good as gold.
Another type of GTO with nitrous:

I think I might well have posted this before - apologies if I have - cant find a way to search for media posts....
