Halstead Boiler problem - Any ideas?

Its always the diagnosis which is the important part of repairing boilers.

Those with no diagnostic skills just change parts until they strike lucky but since they charge the customer for the parts an expensive exercise!

We call them "parts changers".

Quite agree. And I could hardly believe it when the last guy actually got out a test meter and started measuring voltages at different points. A very different, and so much better, approach from the others!
