Hanging floating vanity unit - will it hold the weight of kids!?

Haven’t seen any showrooms that use solid brick walls to screw furniture into, have you?

No but bathroom showrooms have to make sure that there displays are solid and secure so although they won't be in brick it would be a good but unusual test!

Last time I installed walls for this type of display we bolted big square steel tubes with flanged ends down into the concrete floor then built the walls from lightweight metal framing fixed to the steel uprights and clad off with 18mm plywood covered with plasterboard. Made for a solid substantial wall well capable of carrying a bit of overloading. In some locations we also used to fix through the backs of cabinets directly into the plywood, althouh that might have been an anti-theft measure!
