Hello
A plumber recently installed a Hansgrohe Croma 100 Showerpipe for me. When I noticed the shower is not flush to the wall, he said he used a Bristan bracket rather than the original Hansgrohe mounting kit which he found filmsy and not suitable for studwall installation. He also said he has thrown away the original fixing kit provided by Hansgrohe. He said he can't guarantee that the installation would be watertight if we insist on using the Hansgrohe fixings. I am now left with a shower with pipework behind the thermostat mixer, which traps dirt and build up limescale. Can anybody comment whether the plumber has fitted this correctly? If not, what's the right way forward?
