Hello folks

I have just finished my bathroom and all the plumbing. My bathroom shower screen its no longer Cristal clear but patched mat white. I have spent lots of money on chrome plumbing that now are dotted white scaled.

Now I want to instal some filters. But by researching online they suggest not (even if it is food grade) use Polyphosphate cartridge in drinking water.

Now by looking at my diagram how can have descaled water from area 0 to area 1,3 and 4?

Do you have a solution that I can use?

i bought this http://www.screwfix.com/p/high-capacity-water-filter-kit-10/16747 for my area2 (kitchen sink) but it's seams that is not doing much in terms improving taste.

And I was thinking of putting this http://www.screwfix.com/p/2-stage-whole-house-scale-reduction-system/72063 on area 0 and remove from area 2 the http://www.screwfix.com/p/high-capacity-water-filter-kit-10/16747 and have a proper reverse osmosis filter fitted in area2

But I have no knowledge on this therefore I would like some advice. I don't need to have pure water to wash my salad and also I would like a safe little filter for my fridge freezer connected in area 4

Fit a water softener you will need to do some re-jigging of your CWS supply pipe work to allow Hard water to the O/S tap and Kitchen, whilst allowing softened water to supply your Combi boiler (thus all HWS outlets) and the CWS to bathroom & laundry ;)

Have a look at Kalguard+, just hold your breath when they give you a price.
