I'm decking a large area at the back of a church as it will provide an area for the Sunday School children and other local community groups to use on sunny days.
There are several drains under the area. I want to leave access to an inspection chamber and three rodding points.
It is easy to cut the decking boards and have short sections that can be lifted by simply unscrewing a few screws but my problem is how to make it clear which sections may need to be removed. If I simply leave a 600mm length of decking over a rodding point there will be no simple way for someone else to easily know that that is a section that is designed to be lifted to get to the drains.
If it was my house I could draw a plan and leave it for the next owner but with a church it is not easy to leave something that will be easily found in 10 or 20 years time (and at my age I know I will probably not be around to offer advice then)
I wondered if I could get something like stainless steel screw cups to make the screws to be removed obvious but I think some of the guys on here will come up with better ideas.
