Well, early last week I took the plunge (and took the hit to my credit card) and got a load of topsoil and 30 square meters of turf down on a very wet, misty afternoon......
Really keeping fingers crossed now that we won't have any major cold snap for the next week or so (long range forcast for up here in Newcastle looks to be ok - average 10-12 degrees)
I've given the grass a couple of good soakings since I laid it but how often should I be watering?? Dos it need a real drowning at this time of year or will a once weekly water plus whatever falls from the sky be ok?
