Hi
I'm trying to fit a 4" extractor hose in a new bathroom but when I looked in the roofspace I can't get it between the joist and tiles/insulation.
The Joist is an RSJ with a large wooden batten bolted to it which the rafters are screwed into.
I reckon I could get the flexi hose through if I remove all or part of the wooden batten for 4 inches. I can't see why that would cause a strucutral problem but I wanted to check if its a bad idea
cheers
Rob
