hi I have recently noticed a lot of water droplets in the loft mostly directly under the bathroom as well as mould near soffit vents when opening bathroom window.

anyone know the cause of this ?

can it be that the hot steam when showering having window open is traveling straight through the soffit vents in to the loft or I need a new extractor fan ?

have just put some felt lap vents

Centrifugal fan?
Get the soffit cleaned.
Any walls in loft you can add vents or maybe fit roof tile vent

You will also want to pull some of the insulation back from your attic. Pull it back from above the soffit sometimes it clogs up your soffit holes and doesn't let it breath like it should. It is a common problem here in US. Have a blessed day. Give it a shot before you change your fan.
