I've recently moved to a new house which appears to hate boilers !
After moving in, i quickly discovered that the exsisting boiler despite passing a saftey check was completley dead and after informing the landlords faults team, i built up a close relationship with the heating engineers that they sent, they phoned often and visited regularly and after 6 weeks were still none the wiser and were only able to mutter something about reversed polarity ???!!!! and need a new boiler !!!
Que fitting of a new baxi 3 which has enjoyed a honeymoon period of approx 8 weeks.
last week it threw a wobbly , emptied the hot water tank from the overflow pipe and switched itself off via the overheat saftey feature.after resetting it's worked for a few days before what sounded like trying to free itself from the wall and take the pipes with it!!! and the overheat cutting it out - this happens a few seconds after i switch it on for either the heating or the water - all lights show that the boiler appears to fire up ok - anyone any idea's wot could be wrong ? as the landlord want's us to explain wots wrong in writing before they attend !!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the reply !
sorry, i know absolutley nothing about boilers/ heating including mine !
All i know about it, is that it is a baxi solo 3 pfl that is wall mounted and it is a powered flue gfch unit. It's operated from a lifestyle lp241 control panel and before the banging and switch off occurs the boiler makes a tortured screaming noise.
hope that gives a better picture - thanks 4 any help/suggestions that can be given
