I'm in the process of buying a ex-council house.
I've been advised by the estate agent that the house I've put an offer on is concrete. In particular its Laing Easiform built late 1960's
I got a Level 3 home buyers survey done on the property and its come back as
"The property is built using traditional materials and techniques for the period of original construction. The walls are of cavity brick construction. The roof is pitched and tiled."
When I queried it with the estate agent, they advised me that all houses on that estate were concrete construction (it's not true as I currently live diagonal to it and the walls are 100% brick in mine!)
I've emailed the surveyor but am yet to hear back.
What is odd is that the facade of the building is different to every other house on the estate which is making me question who's wrong here.
Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated. I can visit the property as needed to do additional investigations but it will need to be visual only. Pictures for reference.
