I have spotted two separate step cracks coming from the same window. Is this a huge red flag for subsidence or could something have caused this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Deffo not a huge red flag. Some movement, but could be over decades. Cracks like that will generally appear at the weak point in corner of windows etc. Monitor or over the next few years, or rake out and repoint, or silicone it

It's been repointed and has moved again by some 3mm or so. That's ongoing movement and a section has dropped, so potential for it to be foundation related.

However the repointing mix may have been too strong, and it shrunk.

Check for corresponding cracks on the inside wall.

Any drains or gullies close by? Big trees or shrubs?

Hi, thank you for the response, there is a downpipe to the left and a large shrub to the right. Which section has dropped?
