I changed and old 2 gang light switch with a new one like here. In the old socket there was one wire connected to the common terminal and two wires connected to the L1 terminal. When changing to the new switch I thought I moved the wires as they were from the old to new switch. But now the left switch controls the other light (up is off) and the other switch is flipped (down is off). Can anyone advise how to fix that?

Each individual switch has one COM, one L1, one L2.

To make the switches work the 'other way up', the wires in L1 and L2 can be swapped over so the switches work the other way up.

The thing is, one wire is connected to the common terminal and the other two are both connected to L1.

Then you need to put the upside down switch one in L2.

Then swap the wires that are now in L1 of one switch and L2 of the other.

This is a 2 GANG switch right? (That's what the title says.)

Is there a link wire between the two commons?
