Shameful installation. Its all in the detail, which has been skimped in this case.
I always like to have a silicon seal between the floor and end panels (Colour matched to the panel).
An uncut joint should be fitted to the floor, and if this isn't possible 2 coats of waterproof wood glue or silicon sealant, to prevent water getting in.
Definitely make the fitter or supplier get it sorted (dependent on who the contract is with), as thats very shoddy.
