Please see photos. I am planning on installing built-in gas hob and a separate gas oven.

But I only have one rigid gas outlet in kitchen and one oven switch.

Please advise what I will need to ensure and instruct my builder needs to do to both gas and electicity switch supply in order to connect both gas hob and separate gas oven appliances.

I think the gas pipe is 15mm.

A link to any item I would need to consider purshaing would be great.

Thanks

no need for you to purchase anything the qualified gas guy will have the necessary fittings

I need to make things ready for the appliance deliveries they will install but not do any pipework so I need to understand how I can make two gas outlets and if it is feasible

Simple jobs, the installers will know what to do.

1. You are not allowed to make one, never mind two, gas outlets unless you are Gas Safe Registered. It is illegal to do so.
2. You will have to let a gas qualified engineer establish both outlets either:
2.1 After the cooker and hob are installed but before they are connected, even though this may make the connection more difficult.
2.2 Before the cooker and hob are installed, provided you have precise information on outlet location. They would have to be capped off while awaiting connection.
3. As recent events may have proved, illegal gas works can lead to death.
